Meet Our Team
Dyan Martinez - salon manager and creative director
Dyan has been part of the Laru family since 1998. During that time, she has also worked as a stylist in one of the top salons on Newbury Street in Boston. She returned to Laru in 2012.
Never one to stop learning, Dyan has trained extensively with several companies, including Bumble+bumble, Aveda, Redken, Toni&Guy and Wella.
While workin
Dyan has been part of the Laru family since 1998. During that time, she has also worked as a stylist in one of the top salons on Newbury Street in Boston. She returned to Laru in 2012.
Never one to stop learning, Dyan has trained extensively with several companies, including Bumble+bumble, Aveda, Redken, Toni&Guy and Wella.
While working in Boston, she sought out editorial work, and has had much of her work published in various magazines. She also had a chance to work with Mark Wahlberg on the movie “Ted” as well as “Made” on MTV. In addition to her film and print work, this celebrity hairstylist was also contracted to style the dancers for both the Boston Celtics and the Bruins.
Dyan is amazing at creating custom cuts and colors that no other stylist can duplicate. She also specializes in blonde hair.
